Job description
I am currently recruiting a Quality Supervisor - Day Shift for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the metal industry located in Montreal East.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
Manage the company's ISO 9001-2015 quality management system
- Maintain and improve related programs
- Implement appropriate procedures within the various departments
- Develop quality processes
- Participate in all documentation within the company and include all information relating to the quality system.
- Set up internal audits, conduct them and write reports.
- Act as the company's point of contact for external audits conducted within the company.
- Participate in establishing appropriate KPIs to maintain the quality system.
- Analyze existing procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
- Be responsible for non-conformity procedures and follow up corrective actions.
- Maintain the ISO 14001 environmental management system.
- Implement environmental activities and prepare reports
- Act as key contact for external environmental bodies.
- Manage MES projects
- Keep abreast of legal developments in the sector and incorporate them into procedures.
- Other tasks related to quality and environment

Your Profile
-Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
-French-speaking environment - functional English
-Bachelor's degree in metallurgy and/or chemistry
-Experience in manufacturing quality
-Knowledge of Iso 9001 and Iso 14001 standards
-Experience in environmental or GHG reduction projects an asset.

-Salary: $100k - $110k depending on experience
-Permanent 40h/week hybrid position - except during certain periods such as audits
